–Priest Olek addresses the player |
Overview[]
Priest Olek may be alive or dead depending on the scenario.
If he is alive then he will be located inside St. Mary's Church and serves as a Trader. If he is dead then the area will be populated with thugs and his body is nowhere to be found.
Priest Olek and his flock are fairly well-off (even though he says the church was recently robbed by bandits). He does not request any particular goods and trading with him, or refusing to trade with him, does not affect survivor morale. He is a particular source of Books, stocking so many that it could take multiple visits just to buy them all.
If the player enters the door in the basement of the church, Olek will attack the player, though since he is unarmed he does not pose much of a threat.
Possible Trade Inventory[]
- Basic Items: Canned Food, Bandages, Coffee, Herbal Meds
- Materials: Wood, Components, Clean Water
- Equipment: Lock Pick
- Consumables: Filter, Fuel
- Weapons: Ammunition
- Other: Book
Exchange Rate[]
Generally, he is less favorable than Franko.
He sells Filters but they are more expensive than buying the equivalent 3 Components from him. Like most traders he likes to trade for Medications and Bandages- and will gladly take extra if he already has some in his inventory.
During snowy weather, Olek's exchange rate is worse, like the other traders, he will sell Wood and Fuel at higher prices.
Trivia[]
- Priest Olek's model is based on one of the game's developers, Aleksander.[citation needed]
